Toyota Glanza! What's changed rather than the badge?

Toyota recently started teasing the new elanza and that's a combination of toyota and maruti suzuki. This news may not be new about their collaboration but the car is new and also we can expect different engines, features inside and also the cost, service they offer.

As of now we can expect it to be different than the current baleno in many aspects like new interiors, exterior tweaks a little.Engine might be 1.2 lit petrol which is in the baleno with tweaks like the automatic transmission and all will bring it to a whole new level in it's segment as it has a lot of offer but as of now toyota didn't reveal anything except some pics of the car but if they do things like adding sunroof, good infotainment system, safer body the way toyota design and interior designing with new infotainment system, car connectivity and all.If they bring new engine in diesel then it must be brought according to the rules of BS-6 compliance. As of now there are different things happening in india like bs-6 which results in creating a new engines or tuning and tweaking the older ones according to it.Toyota is the most reliable brand in india which has higher resale value, trust from the customers which they have gained from years but from now they will need to work hard a bit more to design and create new ones rather than re-constructing the older ones.If toyota and maruti can work hard on bringing newer vehicles then it will change their success to a whole new level. We need to wait for what they have to say about their future plans with maruti.

  1. The Toyota Glanza has a decent acceleration as it gets a powerful engine. Moreover, the CVT gearbox is not meant for fugal acceleration rather it has a linear performance.

    1. Its not more about the engines but the design of the car is not a big change except the badge and all. Instead they could have worked on bringing a new design and different engine options than constructing the same car with tweaks like engine and badge.

  2. In 2019, Toyota announces new TNGA platform for Vios and Yaris. Such products can’t be cheap. What do you think? Will it affect the sale of Toyota Viosthen fluctuate the price of toyota cars??

    1. Toyota has been a massive player in terms of two segments in Indian market i.e, plus size SUV which is Fortuner and a MPV Innova. Camry, Altis are decent ot maybe called as limited sellers but not the bread winners for Toyota not at least in India. So, what i want to convey here is that it takes so many factors like good infotainment system, good ride quality, Safety, comfort, good price tag and also sporty characteristics to become a hit in a sedan segment. If Toyota ticks all the boxes or the major boxes like Safety, Comfort and also good experience means it can sell one decent numbers but I can't promise you anything here because there's no best sellers for Toyota in sedan segment as of now not previously but now like from 2016 onwards in India.

Hyundai Aura! The Sporty compact sedan is out now.

Hyundai India has launched the all-new sporty looking compact sedan 'Aura' which replaces the Xcent in Hyundai's India line-up and also the details of the car are below. Engines: This Time they have launched the car with bs-6 compliant engines both in petrol and also diesel and now they have the power and torque figures more or less the same as it's engines are even more refined now. So, the engines offered are 1.2lit petrol and 1.2lit diesel. There will be 2 Petrol and 1 Diesel among which the petrol is 1.2 that churns out 83Ps and a 1.0lit engine that churns out 99P of power and the diesel produces 89Ps of power. The Gearbox options are as follows: 1.2Petrol gets a manual/amt while the 1.0 lit gets only a manual one and the diesel gets both manual/amt. So, options are decent to look as well considering the price range it will be in but a CVT would be great like we have seen in the Amaze. Design: Coming to the Design, recently they have released the sket...

Renault Duster! It had its chance.

Welcome to CarsReboot!  There are many people who love Duster for its proportions, ride quality and also the sense of space it has inside it but now it has lost its charm to some extent with its other rivals and it fell into the category of only petrol with no AWD but it still has its chance to become a bigger player if Renault could do some key changes in it. 1. Engine: The 1.5lit was a very good one but now the company has shut it due to the upcoming BS6 regulations and it now replaces both the 1.5lit Diesel and petrol with a 1.3lit petrol engine which is BS6 compliant and the power figures have changed a bit. If they really needed some strong sales then introducing a 1.5lit BS6 compliant diesel and petrol engines with auto gearboxes in both fuel options would have made it a strong seller for Renault. 2. Interiors: Many might have felt this but I intended to stress about this particular one because the interiors in Duster were not that appealing and the reason is...

2020 Tata Harrier! What has changed?

Tata has revealed its covers of the All-new Harrier AT with a fully-powered 2.0lit Engine now and here's a quick review of what has changed in its newer versions and Should you buy one?  It seems Tata has taken the feedback very seriously and the changes they've made in the new one are visible and also a good thing to hear as well. Let us run through the details quickly without wasting much time. 1.Engine:   Tata Motors are now offering the full house 2.0lit BS6 engine with the Harrier and also the power figures are 170Ps and 350Nm of torque now. There's a new auto-gearbox that works well and it is actually sourced from the Hyundai's Tuscon gearbox as that's also having the same 2.0lit engine. The Manual gearbox is also having the same amount of power and torque the automatic has but the good part is that the enthusiasts of the manual gearbox can enjoy it as Tata has worked well on the clutch to make it light and also simple to drive. The Mileage figures o...
