Which is better among the Tata Altroz, Hyundai I20 and Maruti Suzuki Baleno and why?

Hyundai I20: Hyundai has been very successful in most of the cars they have released in the Indian market and among them, I20 is one of the best or maybe the sporty-looking hatch which is both premium and also sporty looking car and also till now the 1.4 lit Diesel engine and also the 1.2 lit petrol with manual and CVT gearboxes are very precise in the gear throws and also the biggest USP of Hyundai cars is that they are easy to drive and also the interiors look very good indeed. The Interior plastic quality, infotainment system, steering mounted controls and also the cluster does look good and the MID screen provides info about the car and also the interiors and exteriors do wow customers even now. But if we are gonna consider it buying now, then we must check out the other options as well like the new Altroz but if Hyundai releases BS-6 compliant engines in both petrol and diesel, then the company will surely increase the price of the vehicle and also we can expect some new features apart from the ones it has now. So, In this segment of premium hatches the Elite I20 has created a separate space of its own as of now but the Altroz seems to take it away from it and more about that will be discussed below.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno: There's no doubt about it that it's the best selling hatch as of now and also the features are not up to the expectations but it somehow managed to bring more customers towards it with the price one has to pay for it and also the design, interiors, wheels and all look good and it has received its facelift recently and also the new BS-6 petrol engines are also there in it but they aren't stretched that far. Considering Baleno isn't good or to be specific it isn't a balanced choice one would make because if one really wants a good balance in this segment then people will surely peek upon the I10 Nios or Freestyle or Figo because they do offer more than this but as our discussion goes on Baleno, it isn't the right mixture of everything in my opinion.

Tata Altroz: As most of you all know that Tata has released its new premium segment hatchback and it has retained certain elements from the Tigor like the front grille but it's distinct in this form or a maybe very small part of the front but it's not that specific to find. Anyway digging deeper into the conversation of whether it will withstand the rest of the competition totally depends upon two parameters and one is the price and the second one is the car itself. Because nowadays people are getting more concerned about safety, features and also long term reliability as well. We have seen the reliability from Tata vehicles and them do last long but the Hyundai's and Maruti's are a bit more which means they can stretch some boundaries and very specifically the Hyundai does it because they release engines which are super refined and also they revv in a sporty manner while the Baleno is a mini soundbox if we try to stretch it to triple-digit speeds sometimes for sure.

Apart from all these the solid benefits of buying Altroz is that it is a BS-6 engine which means it doesn't have any regulation problems in 2020 and also the engine is a solid one which has done duty on the Nexon but it was detuned here and also the gears are only 5 while there is a 6th one in I20 to flex it in high speeds and run smoothly and the another biggest thing is previously the responsiveness of infotainment was slow but it seems they have fixed it here which means no lags and the huge glove-box and other plenty areas for storing our things are done well and also the Design which is a very big USP for Tata because coming from Tata grounds and also the very first product from their all-new ALFA architecture has literally surprised everyone with the amount of boot capacity it has and also the flat rear, seats, piano black inserts and many like this do work in its favour.

So, to sum it up the Tata Altroz has so many things which are in its favor and also the BS-6 engines, design and all make it a worthy contender in this segment for sure and I am not telling all this because it has launched freshly and it looks good and all but consider only one thing here that we must choose a better vehicle among the bunch of choices we have else it's just some huge amount of money invested improperly is what I have to say about the competition we have here. Indians do expect things in a pack and the Altroz is offering us a package of features, safety, style and also many more so considering all these Tata has done things great with this one for sure.

Hyundai Aura! The Sporty compact sedan is out now.

Hyundai India has launched the all-new sporty looking compact sedan 'Aura' which replaces the Xcent in Hyundai's India line-up and also the details of the car are below. Engines: This Time they have launched the car with bs-6 compliant engines both in petrol and also diesel and now they have the power and torque figures more or less the same as it's engines are even more refined now. So, the engines offered are 1.2lit petrol and 1.2lit diesel. There will be 2 Petrol and 1 Diesel among which the petrol is 1.2 that churns out 83Ps and a 1.0lit engine that churns out 99P of power and the diesel produces 89Ps of power. The Gearbox options are as follows: 1.2Petrol gets a manual/amt while the 1.0 lit gets only a manual one and the diesel gets both manual/amt. So, options are decent to look as well considering the price range it will be in but a CVT would be great like we have seen in the Amaze. Design: Coming to the Design, recently they have released the sket...

Renault Duster! It had its chance.

Welcome to CarsReboot!  There are many people who love Duster for its proportions, ride quality and also the sense of space it has inside it but now it has lost its charm to some extent with its other rivals and it fell into the category of only petrol with no AWD but it still has its chance to become a bigger player if Renault could do some key changes in it. 1. Engine: The 1.5lit was a very good one but now the company has shut it due to the upcoming BS6 regulations and it now replaces both the 1.5lit Diesel and petrol with a 1.3lit petrol engine which is BS6 compliant and the power figures have changed a bit. If they really needed some strong sales then introducing a 1.5lit BS6 compliant diesel and petrol engines with auto gearboxes in both fuel options would have made it a strong seller for Renault. 2. Interiors: Many might have felt this but I intended to stress about this particular one because the interiors in Duster were not that appealing and the reason is...

2020 Tata Harrier! What has changed?

Tata has revealed its covers of the All-new Harrier AT with a fully-powered 2.0lit Engine now and here's a quick review of what has changed in its newer versions and Should you buy one?  It seems Tata has taken the feedback very seriously and the changes they've made in the new one are visible and also a good thing to hear as well. Let us run through the details quickly without wasting much time. 1.Engine:   Tata Motors are now offering the full house 2.0lit BS6 engine with the Harrier and also the power figures are 170Ps and 350Nm of torque now. There's a new auto-gearbox that works well and it is actually sourced from the Hyundai's Tuscon gearbox as that's also having the same 2.0lit engine. The Manual gearbox is also having the same amount of power and torque the automatic has but the good part is that the enthusiasts of the manual gearbox can enjoy it as Tata has worked well on the clutch to make it light and also simple to drive. The Mileage figures o...
