Ford Ecosport vs Hyundai Venue

Ford Ecosport: This Brazilian SUV is the first SUV in India that has won the hearts of many Indians and also many awards for sure.

Going into details, Recently ford has cut down its top four models like Titanium, Titanium Plus, S Edition, Signature Edition and what they did instead is that they have revised the variants in the diesel ones and cut down to 2 variants namely Sport Edition, Thunder Edition which was launched recently. Ford has simplified their variants in the Ecosport and also they have reduced the prices of their other cars except for Endeavour and this could have some impact on the sales like they could increase and in some aspects people might mistake it by telling that they didn't have sales and so they are using this trick to increase their sales numbers but that's not the case here. Due to the reduction in the variants in the Ecosport, they must work upon prices because if they keep them as usual then it might affect the other sales they are getting.
Going into the details Ford feels ready for the competition in the sub-compact race but there are some upsides and downsides to this and we are just gonna discuss them and no other things.
Pros:
1. The engine is the best in the segment that has drivability, punchy performance and also gives us a lively experience.
2. The Sync 3 system is a smooth, very detailed and nice to use and also the sound quality is good inside the cabin.
3. Interiors and Exteriors do look quite sporty and reveal the character of the vehicle like it's the champ we have waited for.
4. Sunroof, steering mounted controls, cruise control, TPMS, Traction Control which is not offered in no other SUV in the segment itself all add to its positive feedback.
5. Full-size spare wheel and comfortable seating at the front with a good amount of lumbar support.
6. Even the base variant of Ecosport is packed good enough in safety, features like ABS, EBD and dual airbags and some extra features to help customers.
Cons:
1. 5-Speed manual and no automatic in diesel. Of course, no SUV in this is offering an auto gearbox in diesel and all have only amt.
2. Boot and rear ac vents are the main grudges in Ecosport as if you have more luggage, then you have to work upon it to fit in.
3. The Opening of the boot is a bit uncomfy when compared with the competition and also cost could be added but they have reduced now so, I am not listing it in this section.
4. Engine packing is not that effective when compared to others as it is more exposed when you look into it.
Hyundai Venue: It's the fresh offering from Hyundai which is actually late when compared to the others in this segment but it has scope, time and also many things going for it, like the way it is designed and the interiors, exteriors, refinement, NVH levels inside, features it offers and many more like this will be discussed below.
Pros:
1. Design, 16-inch bulky tyres with diamond cut, interiors, exterior design looks upmarket.
2. Blue link connectivity, Safety features like SOS, Road-side Assistance,6-airbags and ABS.
3. Seat comfort is good inside and also the boot is good enough to pack some luggage without any hassle.
4. Sunroof, Cruise control, Steering mounted controls, the MID screen that lets us have more details of the vehicle and also 6-Speed manual gearbox is very slick and the shifts are very smooth.
5. The Touch screen infotainment system gets a good list if features like apple carplay, android auto,geo-fencing and also the arkamys sound system is not the best in class but deliver the sound good enough for us. Wireless charging which is not available in any other Compact SUV in the segment.

Cons:
1. Feature Omissions! This has started at the launch of creta itself and it's ridiculous why Hyundai is not able to offer a fully loaded variant in petrol here. Not only here but also in Verna, Creta facelift also this was transparent.
2. Rear seat comfort is good but definitely not for 3-people at the back as the ac vents eat into space there.
3. Don't know how many people will use the bluelink connectivity, the features they offer. Size is also less when compared to other SUVs in the segment.
To Conclude this, if you want an SUV that looks good,
upmarket design and less costly than the competition you can go for Hyundai Venue undoubtedly. But, if you want a rugged looking yet sporty feel inside and out with sporty handling and driving experience with a bit more cost than Venue then go for Ford Ecosport.

Hyundai Aura! The Sporty compact sedan is out now.

Hyundai India has launched the all-new sporty looking compact sedan 'Aura' which replaces the Xcent in Hyundai's India line-up and also the details of the car are below. Engines: This Time they have launched the car with bs-6 compliant engines both in petrol and also diesel and now they have the power and torque figures more or less the same as it's engines are even more refined now. So, the engines offered are 1.2lit petrol and 1.2lit diesel. There will be 2 Petrol and 1 Diesel among which the petrol is 1.2 that churns out 83Ps and a 1.0lit engine that churns out 99P of power and the diesel produces 89Ps of power. The Gearbox options are as follows: 1.2Petrol gets a manual/amt while the 1.0 lit gets only a manual one and the diesel gets both manual/amt. So, options are decent to look as well considering the price range it will be in but a CVT would be great like we have seen in the Amaze. Design: Coming to the Design, recently they have released the sket...

Renault Duster! It had its chance.

Welcome to CarsReboot!  There are many people who love Duster for its proportions, ride quality and also the sense of space it has inside it but now it has lost its charm to some extent with its other rivals and it fell into the category of only petrol with no AWD but it still has its chance to become a bigger player if Renault could do some key changes in it. 1. Engine: The 1.5lit was a very good one but now the company has shut it due to the upcoming BS6 regulations and it now replaces both the 1.5lit Diesel and petrol with a 1.3lit petrol engine which is BS6 compliant and the power figures have changed a bit. If they really needed some strong sales then introducing a 1.5lit BS6 compliant diesel and petrol engines with auto gearboxes in both fuel options would have made it a strong seller for Renault. 2. Interiors: Many might have felt this but I intended to stress about this particular one because the interiors in Duster were not that appealing and the reason is...

2020 Tata Harrier! What has changed?

Tata has revealed its covers of the All-new Harrier AT with a fully-powered 2.0lit Engine now and here's a quick review of what has changed in its newer versions and Should you buy one?  It seems Tata has taken the feedback very seriously and the changes they've made in the new one are visible and also a good thing to hear as well. Let us run through the details quickly without wasting much time. 1.Engine:   Tata Motors are now offering the full house 2.0lit BS6 engine with the Harrier and also the power figures are 170Ps and 350Nm of torque now. There's a new auto-gearbox that works well and it is actually sourced from the Hyundai's Tuscon gearbox as that's also having the same 2.0lit engine. The Manual gearbox is also having the same amount of power and torque the automatic has but the good part is that the enthusiasts of the manual gearbox can enjoy it as Tata has worked well on the clutch to make it light and also simple to drive. The Mileage figures o...
