kia Seltos! Some aspects Kia should look into.

Hello guys! Welcome to CarsReboot! Today we're gonna discuss the Kia Seltos.

Kia Seltos! With their very first offering itself shook the market almost in all aspects like design, features, style, and much more. In this post, I'm gonna list out some aspects which Kia needs to look into as its the best time to address these things. Here we go:

1. Variants list which is very huge and not only customers but also the employees there could feel the stress to explain about each and every variant but what my assumption is that Kia is trying to sort out what our customer's needs and by doing this for some time they might change and sort the list into a simpler one but we need to wait for what's Kia gonna do about it in future because they didn't give any statements on this.

2. Top-end or HTX/HTX+ diesel variants and 1.5lit IVT or HTK variants are lacking in features. Before one would comment on a recently updated GTX+ variant in diesel, I just wanna remind you of one thing. Having a GTX+ AT diesel isn't sufficient, because in 1.4lit petrol they are offering both GTX+ DCT and also manual with almost every feature one could expect but here only in diesel AT isn't going to satisfy all customers as the ratio of manual buyers is more than AT buyers unless they don't have any other better option to choose from and along with that the on-road price of GTX+ Diesel costs nearly 21 Lakhs which is a very costly affair while its rival Hyundai Creta top-end diesel comes at 20.51Lakhs.

3. 1.5lit IVT petrol is also lacking on some features like ventilated seats in the top end and also 360-degree cameras and all are missing which Kia can at least look into what customers are requesting in that powertrain as no one wants to be left out with lack of features in their vehicle.

4. Price revisions were made by Kia one at the start by increasing the prices by Rs 35,000 on all variants and also there's one more revision made recently which ranges from Rs25,000 - 35,000/- which doesn't make sense because they have made the revision at the start and if they revise it again means, they might lose the sales which could lead customers to Hyundai Creta and this isn't what any car manufacturer expect to happen, even Kia also.

5. The UVO connected features are 37 which is 13 less than Hyundai Creta and one more thing is that the responses to infotainment or engine are server related ones and take time to respond and things like these work a bit better in 2020 Creta which is having preset commands which work as you command. So, this is something that Kia needs to enhance as they release their facelift in future.

So, these are some aspects which I thought of addressing and my opinion is that the rising prices are going to affect the sales in a negative manner which no company wishes to happen and I obey the fact that Kia despite offering so many features is a good buy but people could gravitate towards other vehicles in the compact SUV segment if these type of changes occur in between and the company should carefully analyse things every now and then so that they can get more customers.

Thank you for reading this post and do post your opinions about the increase in prices and what's your opinion about it on whether it affects the sales of a company or not?

Hyundai Aura! The Sporty compact sedan is out now.

Hyundai India has launched the all-new sporty looking compact sedan 'Aura' which replaces the Xcent in Hyundai's India line-up and also the details of the car are below. Engines: This Time they have launched the car with bs-6 compliant engines both in petrol and also diesel and now they have the power and torque figures more or less the same as it's engines are even more refined now. So, the engines offered are 1.2lit petrol and 1.2lit diesel. There will be 2 Petrol and 1 Diesel among which the petrol is 1.2 that churns out 83Ps and a 1.0lit engine that churns out 99P of power and the diesel produces 89Ps of power. The Gearbox options are as follows: 1.2Petrol gets a manual/amt while the 1.0 lit gets only a manual one and the diesel gets both manual/amt. So, options are decent to look as well considering the price range it will be in but a CVT would be great like we have seen in the Amaze. Design: Coming to the Design, recently they have released the sket...

Renault Duster! It had its chance.

Welcome to CarsReboot!  There are many people who love Duster for its proportions, ride quality and also the sense of space it has inside it but now it has lost its charm to some extent with its other rivals and it fell into the category of only petrol with no AWD but it still has its chance to become a bigger player if Renault could do some key changes in it. 1. Engine: The 1.5lit was a very good one but now the company has shut it due to the upcoming BS6 regulations and it now replaces both the 1.5lit Diesel and petrol with a 1.3lit petrol engine which is BS6 compliant and the power figures have changed a bit. If they really needed some strong sales then introducing a 1.5lit BS6 compliant diesel and petrol engines with auto gearboxes in both fuel options would have made it a strong seller for Renault. 2. Interiors: Many might have felt this but I intended to stress about this particular one because the interiors in Duster were not that appealing and the reason is...

2020 Tata Harrier! What has changed?

Tata has revealed its covers of the All-new Harrier AT with a fully-powered 2.0lit Engine now and here's a quick review of what has changed in its newer versions and Should you buy one?  It seems Tata has taken the feedback very seriously and the changes they've made in the new one are visible and also a good thing to hear as well. Let us run through the details quickly without wasting much time. 1.Engine:   Tata Motors are now offering the full house 2.0lit BS6 engine with the Harrier and also the power figures are 170Ps and 350Nm of torque now. There's a new auto-gearbox that works well and it is actually sourced from the Hyundai's Tuscon gearbox as that's also having the same 2.0lit engine. The Manual gearbox is also having the same amount of power and torque the automatic has but the good part is that the enthusiasts of the manual gearbox can enjoy it as Tata has worked well on the clutch to make it light and also simple to drive. The Mileage figures o...
