Hyundai India has launched the all-new sporty looking compact sedan 'Aura' which replaces the Xcent in Hyundai's India line-up and also the details of the car are below.
Engines: This Time they have launched the car with bs-6 compliant engines both in petrol and also diesel and now they have the power and torque figures more or less the same as it's engines are even more refined now. So, the engines offered are 1.2lit petrol and 1.2lit diesel. There will be 2 Petrol and 1 Diesel among which the petrol is 1.2 that churns out 83Ps and a 1.0lit engine that churns out 99P of power and the diesel produces 89Ps of power. The Gearbox options are as follows: 1.2Petrol gets a manual/amt while the 1.0 lit gets only a manual one and the diesel gets both manual/amt. So, options are decent to look as well considering the price range it will be in but a CVT would be great like we have seen in the Amaze.
Design: Coming to the Design, recently they have released the sketches of it and they looked sporty but as anyone who has seen the I10 Nios can expect how it is going to be as its more or less the same at front but when it comes to rear profile of the car it looks damn sporty with the flowing C-pillar and also the tail lamps do look clean yet sharp when it comes to details. It has the front profile similar to the Nios as the boomerang-shaped DRL's and also projector beams with fog lights as well. This model also comes with 15-inch wheels like in the Nios.
Interiors: Interiors are clean and also simple to look at and the dash board, steering, gear lever, and all others are resemble the same as in Nios but as this one is a bigger car than Nios the changes are at the rear with the ac-vents and also headrests for passengers at the rear and it comes with a part analogue and part digital cluster with steering mounted controls on it and also the infotainment comes with apple car play and also Android auto which is seen commonly in most of the Hyundai cars. The glove box is decent enough and also the other storage options are also good as well. Boot space 340lits which is good considering this segment.
The price of Aura is not yet revealed but we can expect it to be under 7.0-9.5 lakhs but it is just expected.
As we have covered most of the details of the car the question will raise in everyone's mind like in which way is this Aura better than the Ford Aspire or Maruti Dzire?
The first thing here is that Ford Aspire is purely a driver-centric while Dzire is good for families but if you ask me why you should buy Aura is because it is easy to drive, feature-rich than others and also it has refined and reliable engines which are BS-6 as well. So, considering all this I can sum it up like this is a good package in my opinion but if you want a value for money purchase then Aspire fills that spot but if you want a car that has all then its the Aura.
