Where exactly Tata is lagging in the Indian AutoMobile Industry and in what aspects they must improve?

Tata! This name itself creates some huge respect for Indians and also being the oldest as well as highly respected company in the world, it is a bit low point on its slowness in the Auto Industry till sometime as it is very specific in creating new designs and also doing things that are going to attract more customers and also providing them maximum value for what they pay.
Here I don't oppose any kind of designs from them but everyone csn observe the fact that once a design becomes popular, they adopt that philosophy and implement it in their other range of vehicles like Indica design was continued to vehicles like Vista, Bolt, Manza and in the recent times the Altroz's design is implemented in Tiago, Tigor. Thing is its nothing new from them in other range of vehicle designs is what I am trying to convey.
Tata Motors was struggling at some time and the vehicles like Hexa, Tigor, Tiago and all were good but they're not the huge breadwinners for Tata Motors and this became evident at that time representing that they must change the strategy else it's going to be tough as the time passes and they've literally blown away the minds of many companies at the AutoExpo while they've showcased the Harrier prototype and also the Altroz as well. Soon after they've launched the Harrier, its good but something was lacking in it and they've received some amount of criticism for making the mirrors so huge that it has created a blindspot while turning the vehicle and not only that but also the handbrake is unnecessarily huge and also becoming an obstacle while placing cups or something there and the accessing them has become a bit quirky but this had mixed opinions from many while some like it and some don't.
It goes deep if I discuss more it but sticking on to the topic I will simply run through which and all the areas they must improve in order to make themselves a better performer and also a better company as well.

1.Designs: This might wonder some like what's wrong with their designs? There's nothing wrong but the philosophy they maintain has. Why I am mentioning this is, recently we've seen the launch of Tata's line-up with Altroz and the rest like Tigor, Tiago following the same design principle and nothing's wrong with that but whenever customers who seek uniqueness will not be much attracted to those kinds of designs because they believe like "every vehicle of this range looks mostly the same so why buy the same while we can go for something more fresh and unique".

So, these kinds of things happen and the sales will see some dip and this might not affect much now but going further they must make it a point to design vehicles fresher and more appealing than before. Not only that but also the Harrier's front part looks bulky instead of sporty as that's what SUVs are meant to be right!
Solution: There's no other option but to make the designs different from one another because if they're same then why name them different? So, they must be distinct and at the same time, they must attract customers.
2.NVH Levels/Engine Refinement: This has been a very important aspect of any vehicle coming out from a company and its, not like that Tata's sound bad but they need to do a certain amount of noise insulation inside the vehicle because just assume you are paying some 20lakhs to a vehicle and you are able to hear every possible noise from outside means, doesn't that irritate you? This was one big gripe the customers of Harrier had and it must be addressed because other brands like Hyundai are able to manage the noise to the most possible extent while Tata isn't. However, this aspect is a worthy one to consider and Tata must consider this and improve their insulation techniques as they progress else this factor doesn't complete their vehicles. The engine should sound good but not lazy and if one feels the laziness of a car then it loses its impression actually.

3. Infotainment system: It is not that they're bad or anything but they need to be crisper and also sharp in response because while Harrier was launched, many customers have addressed that they have the laggy issue with the infotainment system and what they must do is to improve the experience and also it must be optimized in response so that it shows value for the purchase and moreover it is an important aspect as well inside a car.

4.Central Console: There's nothing to complain about this part of Tata Motors but sorting things like short gear throws, wireless charging, air filter, proper mood-lighting, and others just lighten up the cabin very well and in Harrier (in Gravitas they did) they've not yet replaced that fat handbrake and why I am stressing it is if they can get over it, they can make some good amount of space for other storage areas right!.

5. Wobboing of plastics inside:  Wobbling is nothing but the plastics inside the cabin like for instance the parts of dashboard, ac parts or any plastics inside for that matter shakes or creates some kind of noise means, its called wobbling and that actually creates some kind of irritated feeling because paying that much money and the vehicle is making such kind of noises means, it feels bad because the customers spread good only if they like it but if they hate one then they'll bash the product online in the same manner after which company has to struggle for sales of that particular product so it should be monitored as well.
6.Reliability: This is one such factor because of which company like Toyota is still ruling the top SUV segments despite their high price tag, people are queuing the showrooms to buy one and this factor was maintained by Tata at first when they launched the Sierra, Safari and also the Indica which we're still able to see now because of this particular reason. Now, the scenario has changed and the engines are getting lazy to respond after some 1Lakh kms or so distance while Toyota are able to do some lakhs more with no fuss at all. So, this apsect must be very well concerned.

Finally! Thank you all for reading this long post and these are some of the most important aspects which I wanted to address and if you have any, pls do comment them in the comment section below and see you in the next one🙂.

Kia Sonet! Package unpacked.

Hello and Welcome to CarsReboot! Today we're gonna discuss the all-new production-ready Kia Sonet and here's everything you need to know about it.                        Kia Motors India has unveiled the all-new Kia Sonet on 7 Aug 2020 and here are the details about it. Let us start with each and every aspect of it in detail.                           1. Design: Kia has already showcased the Sonet i.e, the sub-4 metre SUV in the auto expo and they've done a fantastic job by bringing most of the prototype design elements into the real world design.                            Starting with the front, this one looks angrier with that red accents on the grille and the elephant tusk-like DRL's look wild as they've mentioned as its caption. The LEDs look nice and below, there are some sporty elements ...

Hyundai Aura! The Sporty compact sedan is out now.

Hyundai India has launched the all-new sporty looking compact sedan 'Aura' which replaces the Xcent in Hyundai's India line-up and also the details of the car are below. Engines: This Time they have launched the car with bs-6 compliant engines both in petrol and also diesel and now they have the power and torque figures more or less the same as it's engines are even more refined now. So, the engines offered are 1.2lit petrol and 1.2lit diesel. There will be 2 Petrol and 1 Diesel among which the petrol is 1.2 that churns out 83Ps and a 1.0lit engine that churns out 99P of power and the diesel produces 89Ps of power. The Gearbox options are as follows: 1.2Petrol gets a manual/amt while the 1.0 lit gets only a manual one and the diesel gets both manual/amt. So, options are decent to look as well considering the price range it will be in but a CVT would be great like we have seen in the Amaze. Design: Coming to the Design, recently they have released the sket...

Renault Duster! It had its chance.

Welcome to CarsReboot!  There are many people who love Duster for its proportions, ride quality and also the sense of space it has inside it but now it has lost its charm to some extent with its other rivals and it fell into the category of only petrol with no AWD but it still has its chance to become a bigger player if Renault could do some key changes in it. 1. Engine: The 1.5lit was a very good one but now the company has shut it due to the upcoming BS6 regulations and it now replaces both the 1.5lit Diesel and petrol with a 1.3lit petrol engine which is BS6 compliant and the power figures have changed a bit. If they really needed some strong sales then introducing a 1.5lit BS6 compliant diesel and petrol engines with auto gearboxes in both fuel options would have made it a strong seller for Renault. 2. Interiors: Many might have felt this but I intended to stress about this particular one because the interiors in Duster were not that appealing and the reason is...
