Honda City! The Leader arrived..!

Hello guys! Welcome to CarsReboot. Today we're gonna discuss about the all-new 2020 Honda City which was unveiled recently. We're now gonna look into each and every aspect one by one. What are you waiting for?

Let's go..!

1. Design : Honda City has always been a proper looking sedan and this doesn't mean other competitors are bad lookers but City had a better edge than others is what I intend to say.

Honda always stood as someone who stands above all and City is no exception with its increased width and length which makes it stand apart from the crowd and in my opinion, this is the best looking city of all times because of the inspiration it was built on(Civic and Amaze). Its front is dominated by the thick chrome bar that resembles us of the Amaze and the 9 array LED's among which 6 are for low beam and 3 for highbeam is very nice as well. The Rear also seems good with the LED strip and the tail of the car looks simple and elegant to be precise. Honda says that they've worked much on reducing the noise levels that creep inside from the engine. But I'd keep this to the end as its completely a customer's thought on how silent it is.

2. Engines : Honda City is offered with a new BS6 compliant 1.5lit IVTEC that churns out 119bhp and 145Nm of torque and an IDTEC engine that produces a healthy 99bhp and 200Nm of torque and the petrol is offered in both CVT & in manual that claims to be providing a respective 18.4 and 17.6kmpl mileage which is pretty nice for its segment and the diesel provides a staggering 24.1kmpl which might not be that appealing as Verna is offering 25 but having increased in proportionsand in weight of around 64kgs, I really feel this mileage is a very nice figure and an automatic would be really appreciated but Honda says that they don't think an automatic would be needed in diesel but I feel its need in the ever increasing demand for them as we progress into future. What do you think about it? Do we require a diesel automatic? Comment "Yes" if you feel the requirement.

3. Interiors and features : Honda City's interiors haven't seen a complete overhaul but they're fresh for sure with the new leather seats and the colours used inside do create a better appeal and airiness for the customers especially the rear seats are great with the 3 fixed headrests and rear ac vents that look unique.

Sadly, Honda isn't offering us with any new colours for the exteriors but it looks subtle in my opinion with no nonsense at all. Honda City is offered with plenty of features and among them the digital instrument cluster, lane watch cameras, tilt and telescopic steering, alexa built in, android and apple carplay, ge-force meter(only for india and malaysian markets) and also a sunroof, TPMS, connected car tech and all are pretty useful and thoughtful ones in my opinion because none of the competiors in this segment have this thoughful features list except Verna and above all, Honda says that the shell of the city is now more rigid with the use of AHSS in it and to prove it, Honda has scored themselves a 5-star safety rating in the ASEAN Encap which is excellent in its segment.

Verdict : In my opinion, Honda has done a fantastic job by offering the indian market with the 2020 Honda City and is now looking more mature and even more stylish yet elegant and the way it drives is smooth yet refined and if they could price the city at around 10 - 14.8 Lakhs, it would be really a bang for buck and with all the features it has, the improved ride quality, appealing interiors and all makes it a nice place to be in. So, I would give a strong 3.8/5 for the City considering all the features, comfort it provides and also the design looks stellar with improved updates and reliability of their vehicles as well.

After all these, you might get a doubt on where did it loose and I'll discuss about them as well.

Features like ventilated seats, an automatoc gearbox, adjustable headrests at rear and even a better clarity in camera feed quality, good quality screen for the infotainment system and all were expected because its in a segment where people always have their eyes on and Honda missed some of them but on an overall, its a pretty good offering for sure.

Thank you for reading thus post till the end and do let me know your opinions on what do you feel about the all-new Honda City? Can it be the segment best sedan? Do let us know in the comment section below.

Kia Sonet! Package unpacked.

Hello and Welcome to CarsReboot! Today we're gonna discuss the all-new production-ready Kia Sonet and here's everything you need to know about it.                        Kia Motors India has unveiled the all-new Kia Sonet on 7 Aug 2020 and here are the details about it. Let us start with each and every aspect of it in detail.                           1. Design: Kia has already showcased the Sonet i.e, the sub-4 metre SUV in the auto expo and they've done a fantastic job by bringing most of the prototype design elements into the real world design.                            Starting with the front, this one looks angrier with that red accents on the grille and the elephant tusk-like DRL's look wild as they've mentioned as its caption. The LEDs look nice and below, there are some sporty elements like the folded type of chrome finish and also the bonnet is set high as well.                           Coming to the sides, its more like a crossover than SUV like because

2020 Hyundai I20 Vs Tata Altroz! Which is better?

Tata Altroz:  Tata has launched their gold standard vehicle the Altroz recently and also they've priced it very effectively keeping the costs they've to handle with the new BS-6 engines and also offered many good features like dual horn, ambient lighting, part digital and part analog cluster, comfortable rear seats, 90°opening doors and also for the first time a cruise control, steering mounted controls and many more like this. What Tata Motors offer uniquely for this particular vehicle of theirs is the modification packs for the car and you can customize it with the packs they offer us. This is a very unique thing and also the Harman  powered audio system sounds very nice and clear. The Drive modes are restricted to 2 this time which are City and Eco and as the name suggests the City is for sporty driving while Eco is for better fuel economy figures. Having  the 1.5lit engines Diesel and 1.2 Petrol which are meeting the BS-6 norms were detuned and also they'r

Renault Duster! It had its chance.

Welcome to CarsReboot!  There are many people who love Duster for its proportions, ride quality and also the sense of space it has inside it but now it has lost its charm to some extent with its other rivals and it fell into the category of only petrol with no AWD but it still has its chance to become a bigger player if Renault could do some key changes in it. 1. Engine: The 1.5lit was a very good one but now the company has shut it due to the upcoming BS6 regulations and it now replaces both the 1.5lit Diesel and petrol with a 1.3lit petrol engine which is BS6 compliant and the power figures have changed a bit. If they really needed some strong sales then introducing a 1.5lit BS6 compliant diesel and petrol engines with auto gearboxes in both fuel options would have made it a strong seller for Renault. 2. Interiors: Many might have felt this but I intended to stress about this particular one because the interiors in Duster were not that appealing and the reason is tha
