Toyota recently started teasing the new elanza and that's a combination of toyota and maruti suzuki.This news may not be new about their collaboration but the car is new and also we can expect different engines,features inside and also the cost,service they offer. As of now maruti suzuki has around 50% of market in india with their vehicles and in the recent iteration they have proved themselves with their new vehicles like new swift&dzire,baleno,wagon r,ertiga and the sales figures brezza has achieved.But this story might turn around like,if they drop the diesels they will have only petrols,they also reported that they are doing some modifications to the newly brought 1.5 lit diesel engine and if it is able to tick the regulations of the BS-6 norms then it will stand else it also has to go to the shed. There are many highest selling competitors in this compact segment but why i am comparing these two is for two reasons. 1.Mahindra has launched their xuv300 very recently and gaining a lot of hype than it's competition. 2.Even before the launch of Hyundai venue,it is creating a lot of buzz like it is the going to become the biggest hit for this compact segment. Being the first EV from tata, the E-vision concept has grabbed a lot of eyes towards its side with cuts and sharp details all around the car. Speaking about Wagon R, it's a highly sold car in the previous years and now the company has brought a new one built on their "Heartech" platform and Ignis was also built on this only. What does this have to offer you? well, there's a decent list on what you get in this one. 1. Engine: There are two engines and they're only in petrol, no diesel and the options we have are a 1lit one that produces 68 PS of power and 90 Nm of torque, the second one is a 1.2 lit engine that produces healthy 83 PS of power and  113 Nm of torque. To be honest, at the start itself, Hyundai has priced Creta very aggressively but apart from that, there were some problems in Creta which I feel will be sorted out by his brother venue in his segment and pricing. 1.Price: Creta being the most sold and also loved SUV in India and Hyundai has impressed many of the customers with its design, styling and also features they offered in it. But when it came to the pricing dept. they have done some changes which resulted in hesitation for going towards it. It's a superb SUV and I don't say anything about it, but the price tag for it is too costly and if Hyundai has to take on the segment of sub-compact SUV space then it has to bring some wow factors and also some industry first's which they are going to provide in future. Starting from 9-15 lakhs price bracket among wich the base variant is never a good option to buy and there will be a heavy omission of features, we need to consider at least S variant or SX for sure...

Before I started writing this I did some groundwork on what are the actual rivals for Hyundai venue and how can it beat them in what factors and where does it lack and where does it excels and all. I will list them and keep this post as simple as possible. 1. Who are the Competitors: The Main competitors for Hyundai venue are Tata Nexon, Vitara Brezza, XUV300, Ford Ecosport. 2.Engines : Here the most powerful engine of the pack is the one that Mahindra XUV300 has, because it produces a punchy 115 Ps of power in diesel and also the petrol is a 1.2 lit unit which is also good one but among diesel tata is a step above the rest, coming to the other engines ford has a 1.5 lit that produces 100bhp of power and then tata has an even more powerful 1.5 lit engine that produces a 110 Ps of power then comes the Brezza that produces 89 Ps of power with its stable 1.3 engine. Finally, here it is the most awaited Carlino concept came into reality named Hyundai Venue and it seems Hyundai has up the game to a whole new level with the venue. 1.Design: Straight to the point, Hyundai has showcased the car and the car looks quite a contender to all the rivals in its segment with its looks, interiors, styling and all.  Now Hyundai has taken a different approach in terms of design with the venue because the way it looks is not as conventional but fresh out of the design studio and also this compact Suv is going to be launched in India on may.  The DRL housing and the head lamp housing is changed and like the tata harrier they have separated DRL with head lamps and the chrome treatment looks good on it. The Rear profile has changed and the way they are arranged is quite sporty looking but they feel fatty if you see it.
