What is Maruti Suzuki doing until the launch of the new Alto with safety features and also in other models? Did safety measures come to their books only after BS-6 norms? What made them re-visit their vehicles and add more safety features in the current vehicles and also to announce that they will provide their upcoming vehicles with more safety features? As the BS-6 norms kick in, every car manufacturer in India is changing the standard features that are offered in the small cars they have and what they are doing is just adding more airbags and EBD, ESC and other safety centered features.  My Question to them is very simple, why just now? Honda has launched the Amaze long before and what we are going to discuss about is the facelifted version of amaze. This being the compact sedan, has 4 variants in the lineup and they are 2 diesel and 2 petrol. One may wonder why because they are offering both manual and also CVT gearboxes in them, let's discuss it briefly. 1. Engine: There are 4-Engine options and among them, the petrol engine produces a healthy 90Ps and 110 Nm of torque which gets manual and CVT gearboxes that perform very well.
